LiquiKit
Liquid glass components for React, 2026
Open source
MIT License
Liquid glass for React that actually bends the page behind it. Every Base UI component has a glass counterpart: switches you can throw, sliders that stretch as you pull them, menus that pour out of their button.
The glass traces light through a curved lens and looks the same in Chrome, Safari and Firefox. At rest it costs no more than a frosted panel, and it installs with the shadcn CLI as source you own.
Real refraction
Light is traced through a curved rim by Snell's law and baked into a displacement map in a few milliseconds.
Every browser
Safari and Firefox bend a copy of the backdrop, so glass in a scope looks the same in every browser.
Free at rest
Glass bends while you touch it. The rest of the time it's frosted, with its light baked into an image.
Feels like liquid
Springs, a squash that keeps its volume, and a small wobble when you press.
